Substantial amounts of amendments can be concentrated in the planting rows to increase organics and adjust other properties

Example; low pH clay soils,

Treated bio solids from pulp mill secondary sludge could be added(subject to government approval).It would be mixed in to increase pH, add organics, and reduce nitrogen immobilization.

De-compaction

By vibrating a specially designed underground wing, the above soil can be thoroughly de-compacted without leaving any voids. Amplitude and frequency fully controlled depending on conditions.

Erosion protection

Soil erosion is controlled by trenching the uphill side of the raised bed. In order to reduce the affect of any breakthrough, the disc plow is raised at set intervals to create dams along the trench. This allows the plowing rows to fall off contour without the risks of forming spillways. The mound is re-compacted at the top to add strength and shape.

Herbicides and fertilizers

Growing chemicals are added at the precise location and concentration to maximize effectiveness.

Planting consistency

Location, size, and depth of planting holes are precisely controlled. Watering quantity depends upon location conditions.

Data acquisition system

Using the internet of things technology along with digitalization, all monitored or controlled parameters would be stored and available for future analysis.
